Good Eating at The Dells!

                                           

We eat here every time we visit the
Wisconsin Dells
It is off the beaten path. Quite and serene and during the summer months
You can see the Tommy Bartlett water ski show across the lake.
Now that is food and entertainment at it's best!

Isn't this pretty?
You can dock your boat and come up to the restaurant and  grab a bite to eat.

The umbrella is awesome
I want one for my barn patio.

Our appetizers were to die for...

Homemade chips topped with Hidden Valley Ranch sprinkled on the top!

came with crazy good dips
this one had spring green onions and a ranch/sour cream 

Yum

Great beers
D had the Port Huron he loved it!
I had a Honey Weiss always good.

Guess what D had AGAIN?
He could be a expert at eating burgers.
Do you see a pattern here?

They were HORRID!!!!
Yep just awful..
super hot tasting and soggy and YUCKY!
I have to be fair, the fries were great!
The service was at its worst ever when we had eaten here.
We had a foreign gal who was so hard to understand and she was so so unpleasant. She never checked back on us I wanted to send my food back and order something else. She was ....BAD! This is the opportunity when a person should say
"Honey if you hate your job that bad QUIT"
There is someone else who would more than likely snatch it up.
I am not trying to be critical but I use to bartender and waitress during school etc and I loved my job and my customers. And I was rewarded greatly for it.

With that being said, she needs to go to a new school and learn the way to treat customers...

Grandpa's Old Jeep Willys!

This is the truck that I take all my blanket pictures on.
I am madly in love with this sweet thing.

I learned how to plow snow in it.
When my father and mother were so sick I became the official snow plower one year. 

Tons of men stop at the farm and ask questions about it all the time.
The #1 ? is will you sell it?

My answer? NO SIR REE BOB...or Joe or Mike.

I love to decorate it throughout the year.

Yep 33 years...where has the time flew?
I say that just when my oldest is turning 30 next year.

I love the whole thing!

My sweet sweet little man is going into the truck Dr this fall and he will be worked on.
I will miss him so so much!
Then he will be leaving the Truck Dr to the Paint Dr in the spring/summer.
We are restoring my sweet man.
Can't wait to get the new and improved one.
Can we do that to ourselves?
Minus the plastic surgery and such? That use a wand thing in Cinderella sounds like a good thing to me.

Inside a College Football Game!

We are so blessed to have wonderful lovely endearing friends!

My BEST BEST friend's son owns this Awesome company and we are lucky to spend
time at the games.

I love watching the stands fill!

*Fall Days*

The leaves are turning

The birchs look whiter

Our road looks lovely

The last of the hay has been taken off the fields

The corn is gone.

Only the stocks remain

The skies are darker

Weeds look pretty

I guess it's fall

What is your favorite season?
Me?
Hands down Fall...ummmm maybe Spring..however I love Summer!
Winter? Not so much!

I am hyper ADHA and cannot not make my mind up!

Working On The Barn AGAIN!

 Been gone for a while but here are some things we have been doing!

Took the crap out of the barn before we started. Sorry about the word CRAP!
But Crap is crap!
And crap makes me money so I can get the barn going.
So crap is good in this case!
IMO!!

D was working hard!
We all were working hard!
Got really dirty and could hardly breath!
Ugh!! Old straw is not a good thing!

Loved the light coming in through the barn boards.
Looking at it you know that it is just the dust off the straw
that we were breathing in.
Ugg again!

We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

We filled the pickup truck and spread it on the fields.
Great mulch!

We took the hay/straw out by bins...took around 3 hours and 6 truck loads with the 3 of us working!

Thank God it looks great now...well not great but good!
We started to take the wall to the left down to open it. But decided to do it next year.
What a great feeling to get this done!

So that is part of the reason I have been gone for a while.
